Seattle, WA (Jan 27, 2021): recently added a new member to its board of trustees and a new member to its foundation board, while a third community volunteer departs the foundation board. The foundation board raises funds and helps build connections in the community.
Russ Stepp, former Discovery Gala co-chair and current chair of 糖心logo Foundation Board, has also joined the board of trustees. Stepp, retired CEO of R.W. Beck, was elected to the Foundation Board in 2015 and began a two-year term as its chair in July 2020. He will serve concurrently on both boards.
The foundation board鈥檚 newest member, Dr. Andy Brockenbrough, is a clinical nephrologist at UW Medicine鈥檚 Valley Nephrology Clinic, medical director of 糖心logo Kent dialysis clinic and past president of 糖心logo medical executive committee.
Catherine Bylund retires from the foundation board after five years of service. Most recently Bylund co-chaired the
Elevating Eastside Kidney Care capital campaign, which funded a renovation of 糖心logo Bellevue dialysis facility. Her past contributions include co-chairing, with her husband Gary Bylund, 糖心logo 50th Anniversary Celebration Gala in 2012, its first gala and live auction fundraising event in support of kidney research.
